Very Big Milk Tank?

Watching your main social media platform get absolutely fucking tanked (no pun intended) when social media is your entire livelihood is frustrating, to say the least. It's a bit of a conundrum where I want to complain about it but I also understand an Instagram account is not a right and that ultimately they're a private company who can enforce whatever rules and regulations they wish, no matter how stupid and unfair it all seems. Sure, some consistency across the board or any kind of customer service at all would be nice, but I made the choice to build a career off a platform that never actually guaranteed me any security so what can you do?
About two weeks ago I suddenly started getting bombarded with notifications from Instagram that I had violated their terms of service and was having months old photos and stories removed left and right, for offenses ranging from "Pornography" to "Adult Sexual Solicitation", and even one perplexing accusation of "Bullying and Harassment" in regards to a photo of me in a bikini and a cowboy hat that was simply captioned "Yeehaw". From then on it became apparent I could no longer mention or even hint towards Onlyfans in any way without it being taken down in under 30 seconds and slapped with a warning that my account might be deleted. To be clear, this isn't the result of me being targeted by "jealous haters"or anything, it's just the rollout of Instagram's new strict content guidelines that bring the hammer down on just about anything that falls under the "sexy" umbrella.
Honestly, I'd been fed up with that account for a long time now. The arbitrary "algorithm" everybody speculates about but nobody really understands that decides which of your followers will actually see your posts in their timeline has been slowly beating me into the ground for years. My DMs are a cesspool of spam, phishing schemes and incoherent horny nonsense, and my comment section is overrun by porn bots begging lonely men to message them so they can scam them out of money. But despite the absolute garbage engagement on there, a verified Instagram account is valuable, hard to obtain, and not something I want to lose, so I decided it was time for a change.
And thus, thanks to inspiration from a simple Instagram comment that long ago gained enough traction when I posted it on Twitter to become a phrase people forever associated with me, Very Big Milk Tank was born. As of yesterday, my 2 million follower @darthlux account's story was averaging around 10k total viewers, a pretty stark contrast to the 100k+ I used to consistently get on there two years ago. Meanwhile my new account's story with a mere 48k followers is reaching more than 25k viewers. I still can't mention Onlyfans without getting a virtual smackdown from Instagram's auto moderation filters, but at least my followers are actually seeing my posts and engaging in a meaningful way. Maybe the new account will stand the test of time, maybe it'll get deleted for some vaguely explained anti-boob violation and I'll have to start again, but for now it's nice to feel like it's actually worth posting again.
Anyway, I can't believe I just wrote four paragraphs about fucking Instagram lmao but people kept asking me, "Why the new account?" so there you have it. I promise next blog I'll talk about something more meaningful!

New follower here and IG, enjoying both. You Ig posts, even though are generally adult themed, are tastefully done. Well done, keep doing what you're doing.
